This Versalift SST-40-EIH articulated telescopic bucket truck on a 2026 Ford F-550 4×4 diesel chassis is a solid fit for utilities, telecom, sign/light, and tree crews that need a compact, 45 ft working height unit with real payload left on the truck. Non-overcenter geometry and a 27.9 ft horizontal reach give good working envelope on distribution work, street lighting, and general maintenance without dragging outriggers all over the road.
The SST-40-EIH features full hydraulic or electric-over-hydraulic controls, open-center hydraulics, non-lube bearings, and simple, field-proven steel construction. Upper and lower boom insulation gaps, 370° non-continuous rotation, and a 450 lb platform rating make it a practical work truck for the Upper Midwest climate. On the Ford F-550 4×4 chassis, you get good access on gravel, ROW, and winter streets while staying maneuverable in town.
