The Versalift SST-40-EIH on a 2026 Ford F-550 4×4 is a 45 ft working-height, articulated telescopic bucket truck built for utility, telecom, sign/lighting, and tree work. With 27.9 ft of horizontal reach, 450 lb platform capacity, and a compact 10.33 ft travel height, this configuration gives crews solid up-and-over capability on a Class 5 chassis while preserving payload and maneuverability for tight Right-of-Way and urban work.
This SST-40-EIH uses an open-center hydraulic system (up to 3 gpm at 2250 psi) with full hydraulic or electric-over-hydraulic controls, non-lube bearings, and 370° non-continuous rotation for simple, low-maintenance operation. Boom articulation ranges from -5° to +90° on the lower boom and -14° to +74° on the inner/outer boom, with 116 in of telescopic extension and up to 500 lb lower-boom lift eye capacity. Built on the 4×4 F-550 diesel chassis with a steel service body, it’s a practical all-around line truck for Upper Midwest winters and off-road access.
