This Versalift SST-40-EIH insulated articulated telescopic bucket truck on a 2026 Ford F-550 4×4 is a solid fit for utility, telecom, streetlight, sign, and tree work across the Upper Midwest. With 45 ft working height, 27.9 ft horizontal reach, non-material-handling configuration, and a lightweight BrandFX body, it gives you useful payload on a CDL or non-CDL friendly package depending on spec. The SST-40-EIH is a proven, simple, open-center hydraulic design that operators like because it’s predictable and easy to service in the field.
The boom offers full-pressure hydraulic or electric-over-hydraulic controls, 370° non-continuous rotation, -5° to +90° lower boom articulation, and 116 in of telescopic inner boom travel. Upper and lower boom insulation gaps (up to 42 in / 12 in) support typical distribution work practices when configured correctly. Platform capacity is 450 lb, with non-lube bearings and straightforward filtration (10-micron return / 100-mesh suction) to keep maintenance simple.
