The Versalift SST-40-EIH on a 2024 Ram 5500 4×4 is a compact, non-insulated articulated telescopic bucket truck built for tree care, forestry, and municipal work where payload and maneuverability matter. With 45 ft working height, 27.9 ft horizontal reach, 450 lb platform capacity, and a chip body, it’s a strong fit for utility contractors and tree crews that need one truck to travel, chip, and work all day without excess weight.
This SST-40-EIH features full hydraulic or electric-over-hydraulic controls, open-center hydraulics (up to 3 gpm at 2,250 psi), non-lube bearings, and 370° non-continuous rotation for simple, low-maintenance operation. The boom offers -5° to +90° lower articulation, -14° to +74° upper articulation, and 116 in inner boom extension. It’s mounted on a 2024 Ram 5500 regular cab 4×4 (Cummins diesel, Aisin automatic, 19,500 lb GVWR, trailer brake controller, U‑connect, power windows/locks, rear camera, and steps) with a chip body for true forestry duty.
